Drop Down list, Matching, Multiple choice, Multiple select, Ordering, True/False, Fill-in-the-blank, Short answer, essay, offline item, calculated question.

What controls are available with timed tests?

• Time warning: Navigate to the test item. On the Interaction tab, select the Time Warning box when setting up the test. This provides a pop-up window warning users the amount of time left on the quiz.

• Automatically submit test: Select the Automatically submit when time limit expires- to automatically submit a user’s quiz when the time limit is reached. The user receives a warning pop-up that time has expired.

What randomization features are there?

• You can randomize the order in which questions are delivered by checking a box on the Interaction Tab.

• For multiple choice questions, you can randomize the order of each question’s answer by checking a box on the Interaction Tab.

How do I

• click the Lessons tab.
• Click the folder in which you want the test to reside
• Click Add Content
• Click Assessment
• On the Content tab, enter the name of the test
• complete the Access, Interaction and Assignment tabs to set funtionality.
• Click Save.

In the test item, go to Settings/ Interaction/attempts allowed

set a time limit for a test

In the test item, go to Settings/ Interaction/time limit and time warning

Edit a question after it is created

In the test content item/ click the text that describes the type of question

View test entries from students

In the test item, click Utilities  then View, Grade or Delete Submissions.

Click the View button next to the student submission you wish to view. You are provided with a view of the student’s quiz submission with the graded items and items that need to be manually graded.

When finished viewing, click the Done button.

View survey entries

Point to the Utilities hyperlink located underneath the name of the survey item.

Click the View, Grade, or Delete Submissions hyperlink. The Submissions page appears.

Click the View button next to the student submission you wish to view.

When finished viewing, click the Done button.
